Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Hits 1 Million Downloads
Thom Yorke’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes has been downloaded over 1 million times in less than a week’s time. The album currently has over 1.1 million downloads on the BitTorrent site, which doesn’t include the deluxe white vinyl also being offered.
Reddit user Crokie posted photos of the album earlier today revealing some more information about the album.
Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes is produced and edited by long-time Radiohead producer and collaborator Nigel Godrich, and mastered by Bob Ludwig. Colin Greenwood is credited for beat programming for the track “Guess Again!”. The artwork is by long-time time Radiohead collaborator and artist Stanley Donwood. The album reads: ” Holes dug and filled in by Stanley Donwood with Tchocky in a mostly advisory capacity”. (Tchocky is usually how Thom is credited in the liner notes for album artwork.) Inscribed into the vinyl is “VILLAIN AM I NONE, THEREFORE FAREWELL, I SEE THEE KNOW ME NOT” and “G.W + bazza alchemy”.
